When I was bout 12, we (me and my sisters and some friends) went to Mustang Island down by port aransas. 
It was a lot of fun. I really liked the ferry ride over to the island. We stayed in an RV and it was only a short walk to the beach. I also caught a live sand dollar!!!!!!!
Which was weird because I was crawling backwards on my hands and knees and I felt something under my hands, it freaked me out! But it was awesome to look at its little legs wiggling everywhere. We let it die and it dried out and stank the whole place up, it was so sick!!!!
we got to go out to eat at this really nice restraunt , it was right on a boat dock so you could see all the boats coming in.
after we got done eating we went to watch the dolphins swim around and stuff.
After that we decided that we would go and see where the big boats that caught all the fish came and docked and we got to watch the people that caught them taking a pic. We sat and watched some of the guys cut up the fish it was really cool they were really fast at it (I guess because they do it all day long)
The whole vacation was so much fun I would do it again!!!!
However, I would like to go to the Teton Mountains and go hiking or hunting down in there.I love to do that kind of stuff it makes me feel good. iv’e heard from some people that it is really nice up there and they told me I should go some time
